Are you surprised with the title above? You shouldn’t because I didn’t talk about old fashioned and traditional fireplace. What I am talking about is about new type fireplace. It uses gas and electricity to produce heat. Therefore it can be operated remotely with a remote control. For those of you who don’t know, a gas fuelled fireplace is a vent free fireplace that produces heat from gas combustion, while the other type, electric fireplace is a fireplace that runs on electrical source.

While gas fuelled vent free fireplaces produces heat by gas, it can produce extremely hot flame because of the nearly complete fuel combustion and nearly no emission. That’s why it produces no fumes and smoke. It is considered to be good for the health of your family. Meanwhile an electric fireplace produces heat from an electrical source. Even tough it produces less heat than gas fuelled vent free fireplace, electric fireplace has the advantages for its portability, you can move it anywhere as you like.

Furthermore these two types of fireplace are equipped with a remote control to operate it from distance, so that you don’t have to turn it on manually. Pretty cool don’t you think? Gas fuelled vent free fireplace usually are more expensive than electric fireplaces but given the advantage of both types I think the prices are worth the value.
